Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who specializes in B2B sales within the IT and Digital Agency space. You will be responsible for understanding our full service suite—Tech, Brand, and Marketing—and crafting tailored proposals that solve complex client challenges. You will lead the entire sales cycle from lead analysis to negotiation and closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Analysis & Lead Generation

  • Analyze specific industries to identify opportunities for Iolen’s core services (e.g., Retailers needing E-Commerce/ERP solutions or Startups requiring Brand & Rebranding).
  • Identify decision-makers and build a robust pipeline of qualified leads using HubSpot.

2. Proposal Creation & Solution Pitching

  • Draft detailed, persuasive business proposals that align client pain points with Iolen’s specific capabilities (e.g., pitching Web Automations to streamline operations or Performance Marketing for ROI growth).
  • Collaborate with technical and creative teams to ensure proposal feasibility (e.g., consulting UI/UX or Graphic Design teams for accurate quoting).

3. Client Negotiation & Communication

  • Lead client presentations and high-stakes negotiations with a focus on value-based selling.
  • Maintain exceptional business communication standards, acting as the primary face of Iolen during the pre-sales process.
  • Conduct "Brand Audits" (as per our service offering) to demonstrate value to prospective clients early in the conversation.

4. Pipeline Management

  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, deal stages, and revenue forecasts using HubSpot.
  • Utilize Notion for documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and organizing sales assets.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and client calls via Microsoft Teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably within a Digital Agency, IT Services, or SaaS environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the digital landscape, including Web Development, Digital Marketing (SEO/Performance), and Branding strategies.
  • Communication: Elite verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify technical concepts (like ERP or CRM) for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Negotiation: Proven track record of closing high-ticket deals and handling contract negotiations.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency (Mandatory):
    • HubSpot: For CRM and pipeline management.
    • Microsoft Teams: For professional communication and virtual meetings.
    • Notion: For workflow organization and documentation.
